Dear all, Some of you may be aware that the ning social networking website system went through a big change this month and eliminated the option of advertising supported websites. We had managed to keep our monthly costs of running the website down to about $25-$30 per month by participating in this option. However, this change will more than double the annual expenses of running this website.
We need your help in order to keep the website going. This appeal does not go out to the few who have generously donated already, but to those who have though about it and never got round to doing it! :)
Please consider donating a small amount (what you might pay for a couple of drinks in a bar one night). As we desperately need it. If you choose to do so please mail a check to:

Welcoming Statement from Mrs. Delshadian
Dear Parthian students and teachers,
My apologies for being so remiss in answering all your wonderful messages. The Reunion was fabulous, memorable and brought me much joy. I was so touched to know that your early school days had meant so much to you.
I returned to reality, straight into teaching and University counseling. As you may know, my husband's health has deteriorated so I need to take care of him a great deal. This means time is very short to send you all my heart-felt greetings regularly.
I now have two sets of wonderful memories: our years at Parthian together and the incredible reunion held in Los Angeles. It was amazing that despite the passage of time you were all recognizable. More amazing was the fact that all of you have successfully and positively fashioned the path of your lives. I am proud of each and every one of you and your incredible courage in adjusting so well to a new life in a new country. I am also proud of being grandmother to so many of your children including my own three. Please continue to keep in touch (despite my delayed response). Also contact me at my email address: rdelshadian@mac.com. Hopefully we shall all meet again at another reunion soon. May I wish you all good health and happiness. Never forget that wonderful word 'love' with all its connotations, which makes the world a happier place.
I would like to once more take this opportunity to thank our efficient organisers. Cameron, for the exciting website and the committee, Mitra, Niloufar, Marjan, Sebastian and many others for the great organisation, in getting the memorable reunion of last year off the ground. Thank you for making it so successful. It was a wonderful journey down memory lane and at the same time an exciting glimpse of your lives now. Please continue to use this site to keep in touch with each other and to keep up to date with your news.

I'm trying to remember the name of a mom of two kids at Parthian whom I tutored. She was a professor of biochemistry at the university and she was writing an autobiography for UNESCO which I helped her edit.
